🎂 It’s my Birthday this weekend! As I celebrate another year, I’d love to share my thoughts on making life meaningful and rewarding, plus, as always, a free gift for YOU! 👀
💗 Honesty and straightforwardness, combined with kindness, understanding, and compassion is the best way to live your life.
💗 Perform small random acts of kindness without expecting anything in return.
💗 Say “yes” when you mean “yes”; “no” when you mean “no”; and never say “yes” when you mean "no”.
💗 Return your shopping carts and don’t hold up the line while you are still getting “one more thing”.
💗 Life is full of challenges, but you are stronger. Mindset and determination will allow you to triumph, emerging stronger, wiser, and hopefully happier. Always remember that you are a warrior!
💗 Grow your brain. Read books (the paper kind), listen to audiobooks and podcasts, take online courses.
💗 Put away your phone. Spend time in nature. Walk barefoot in the sand or grass. Listen to the sound of the birds. Explore hiking trails.
💗 Enjoy the arts – musicals, theatre, performances, museums, art.
💗 Separate yourself from people that drain you. See above about saying “no”.
💗 Make time for something pleasurable, non-work related, every day.
💗 Say “please”, “thank you”, and “I appreciate you”.
💗 Cherish and enjoy your pets.
💗 Spend quality time with family and friends. Schedule activities on your calendar to look forward to.
💗 Take care of you. Exercise, eat (mostly) healthily, take screen breaks, get enough sleep, take care of your skin and hair. (Who knew we weren’t supposed to wash our hair daily? Life changing.)
