Show the Interviewer Who YOU Are!
đ Smile, talk with your hands, display a sense of humor and excitement.
đ Stop acting like the interview is an interrogation and showcase your warmth and personality. Let them see you get excited when talking about the position.
đ§ The more knowledgeable you are about the company and industry, the more apparent it will be that for you, this isnât just a job, itâs a passion.
đ€ Donât be afraid to name drop, whether it is their products that you use, projects in the industry that you have worked on, or industry leaders that you admire or have worked collaboratively with.
đ Candidates forget that their personality has a major impact on if they will be hired. They can always teach you a skill, but they canât teach you to be likable.

Need help preparing for interviews with a âhold your hand, kick you in the buttâ coaching style? Thatâs exactly what I do! In the words of a former client:
âI worked with Cindy because I was starting to get some interviews and I just couldnât seem to get past the first round. Cindy worked with me to calm my anxiety and provided mock interviews where she would make suggestions on how to improve the answers I gave. I became more and more confident and I started to get to the final rounds of interviews. I am proud to say that I am now a fully transitioned teacher and Cindy played a huge part in getting me there!â â Amy S.
