Always Keep The Door Open

Always Keep The Door Open

đŸ«”YOU are always in control. You can always say “no” to any offer if:

❌The salary is too low

❌You don’t really want the position

❌You have a better offer

❌The commute is too long

❌You get bad vibes

❌You are tripping over red flags

❌You would rather work at home with your dog and this is fully in person

BUT
here’s a mindset shift. Keep all doors open.đŸšȘ

📄Wait until you have the offer before saying “no”. Sometimes the negative experiences from our past have us actively looking for red flags that may not really exist.

đŸ˜±If fear stops you from even moving forward in the interview process, you never get the opportunity to know.

✔You can always say no.

✔You can always accept a position and continue to look for a better one.

✔You can always accept a hybrid position and continue to look for remote, if that’s your preference. (although once you start working a hybrid position, you may absolutely love it. It’s the best of both worlds).

👉But if you say “no” too soon (like talking yourself out of even applying) you’ll miss out on many great opportunities.
