Birthdays are for Celebrating!
đI love birthdays!!! Mine, yours⊠I love celebrating. I love to surprise people with home baked cakes, that perfect little gift, balloons, and flowers. I love lunches and dinners and ongoing celebrations.
đ„łIâm privileged to share my birthday month with some very special friends, and I love the tradition of celebrating together, year after year, decade after decade, growing older, wiser, and better together.
đOn the occasion of my birthday, I would like to share some of my thoughts on life, that make every day special and challenging times more bearable.
đCelebrate often! Life is uncertain. Take the time to appreciate and enjoy what you have, in the moment. Some days this is easier than others, but there is always a silver lining. Celebrate everything.
đDonât worry! Prepare, take action, be proactive. And then go on living. Worrying doesnât help you think clearly, and it destroys your happiness while you are âwaiting for something to happenâ. I can say with certainty that everything I worried about in life NEVER happened, and all the unbelievably traumatic situations I had to endure came without notice, and there was nothing I could have done to prevent them.
đȘBe your own Warrior! If youâre anything like me, youâve already handled and conquered a fair share of challenges in life. Trust that you can handle anything that is thrown your way. Be brave. Take on challenges. Be an example to your children. Create the life you want to life.
đ€Give! Give more than you receive. Volunteer. Help others. Be generous with your time, talent and wallet. And if you make a commitment, honor it. Someone is counting on you.
đšâđ©âđ§âđŠFamily First! Communicate with your family. Listen to and respect your children. Set the foundation so that you will have a loving relationship with your kids when they are grown. Much as we like to pretend it wonât happen, our children wonât stay little forever.
đ„Take care of yourself! You deserve to look and feel great, at any age. Eat healthy. Exercise regularly. Take care of your skin. Get enough sleep.
đChallenge yourself! Learn something new. Follow your dreams. Donât give up on yourself. You are never too old to write the next chapter of your story. And if that involves your career or getting back to work, Iâm here to empower you.
đEverything is about attitude! One year older is certainly better than the alternative. Use your birthday as your personal resolution time. Celebrate what has happened during the year and make plans to have a fabulous new year. âSame old, same oldâ should not be your mantra. You deserve to be happy and for your life to be fabulous.
đAnd donât forget to eat cake! Birthdays are worth celebrating!
đThank you for being part of my cherished community!
