Don't Make These Resume Mistakes!
🧴Let’s face it, even your shampoo, whose main job is known to everyone (get your hair clean) markets its unique selling points.
âś…Stops frizz & gently cleans
âś…Intensely hydrates for soft, healthy hair, natural glow
âś…Soothes dry, irritated scalp
👉You need to do the heavy lifting. Your resume must demonstrate that you can and have done the specific responsibilities described in the job posting.
🤩Even more than that, your resume should show how you not only did the work, but were also totally awesome at it. Include numbers, metrics, and results.
đź“ŁThe 2 biggest mistakes job seekers make with their resumes are:
❌Writing a list of what they did, without including any measurable results This is not a time to be humble. If you don’t sing your own praises here, nobody will know, and you won’t get the interview.
❌Using the same resume for every position, and not demonstrating that you have expertise in what is important for the specific position you are applying for.
💪We’ve all done so much in our lives that if we included everything, we would have volumes. It’s up to you to do the heavy lifting and include the parts of your experience that are relevant to the job.
