social media vs emails...

I know you’re on social media all the time, but how often do you check your emails?

It’s not hard. They’re on your smart phone, right?

If you are looking for a job, please make sure you check your emails at least 3 times a day... morning, mid day, and before end of business day.

Many times I’ve heard of people who lost out on opportunities, because a potential employer reached out offering an interview, and the candidate didn’t respond until the next day or even 2 days later.

You may be the best candidate on paper, but not responding to emails or voicemails speaks much louder about who you are and what type of employee you will be, than just writing “great organizational skills” on your resume.
