The Best Question to Ask in an Interview

💃Imagine you’re hosting a holiday party. A few days before the event, your partner asks you, “what do you expect me to do before the party?”

😐While the intentions may have been sincere, the wording of “what do you expect” certainly doesn’t portray the image of someone super excited to help you with moving the furniture, setting up chairs, and grocery shopping.

🤩Instead, suppose they say, “what would you like me to ACCOMPLISH before the party?”

🙌Hmmm… notice the shift? Aren’t you feeling like you have their full support and they are 110% on board with helping you?

🤔Now think about that question everyone likes to ask at the end of a job interview, “what do you expect of me in the first 90 days?” Do you feel the same CRINGE?
