Ace the Interview, Even From Home!

💻 Virtual interviews require more than just preparing for the questions. The interviewer is “in your home”.

👉 Everything is a reason to disqualify you, from your dirty dishes to your spotty internet. Here’s how to ace your virtual interview.

🏡 Find a quiet, uncluttered place.  Seeing your unmade bed will cost you the position. Turn off your TV, phone and make sure children, pets, and partners are quiet.

🖥️ Test your Wi-Fi and the remote platform. Stick with the computer you tested. Be a few minutes early, in case your computer needs to do a last minute update, just to make you nervous.

😊 Put on the blazer. It’s harder to look professional on zoom. Please, NO PAJAMA bottoms.

💡 Pay attention to LIGHTING, sunlight impacts a video interview. Look at the camera.
