Job Search Tips

Is there anything worse than this...
➡️Rejection. ➡️After. ➡️Rejection. and ➡️No. ➡️Feedback.
Trying your hardest, yet nothing is working.

✅Let's fix that TODAY!!
If that is what your job search looks like, then this post is for you.💓

✅It's important to look at what stage of the application process you are receiving the rejection.
✔️Instead of just categorizing them as rejections, if you examine which step of the process isn't working for you, you can change that to get better results.

✅Are you getting interviews?
✔️It not, then your resume and cover letter need to be improved.
✔️It’s important to customize and target them to every position.
✔️Be sure to include accomplishments and where you added value, not just a list of tasks.
✔️Include numbers and match the needs of the job.

✅If you are getting interviews but not offers, you need more interviews preparation.
✔️Do you have positive stories to describe everything they are looking for in the job posting.
✔️Are you knowledgeable about the company.
✔️Are you enthusiastic?
✔️Did you present yourself well at the interview? Professionally dressed, on time, clean, noise from remote interview space?

✅Don't forget your LinkedIn profile and what you post is also important.
✔️Do you have a professional photo? Which can be taken with a smartphone
✔️Does the experience in your LinkedIn match the experience on your resume. There can be more bullet points on your LinkedIn, because there is more space, but companies, dates, titles must match.
✔️What are you writing and commenting on. Employers are reading this to understand your personal branding.

✅It is important to look in the mirror and determine what you are doing right, and where you can make improvements.
✔️That is how you move forward, using the past as a learning experience and growing from that.

💓You absolutely can do this! 🥰Never give up on yourself! 💪You are a warrior! 🙌The skills required to land the job are completely different that the skills you need to actually do the job.
