Understanding Your WHY

Understanding Your WHY

😊Of course your WHY is important! It's the reason you are here, looking for a job. 💡
✅Your motivating factor, propelling you forward.
✅Without the WHY, your job search would be meaningless.

✅Your why is personal and there are lots of fantastic reasons.

💡BUT... it's not the employer's WHY.
✅When posting on LinkedIn, realize that the people you are hoping will hire you, are looking for the person that fits their company's WHY.
💡(That's the reason they are looking to hire someone. To fit the need or why for their company)

✅This is your markeing opportunity!!
✅SHOW them why YOU are the best person for their WHY.

✅There are lots of job seekers posting all about their children.
✅But think about this for a moment...

✅People don't hire me as a Career Coach (or even take part in all of my free content) ✔️because of my children (2, by the way)
✔️or my husband (1, lol)
✔️or dog (mini-long haired dachshund) 🐶
✔️or even because I am a cancer survivor or love to bake (interesting, but not relevant)

✅People hire me as a Career Coach because of my knowledge, proven success, recommendations, attitude, content.

✅Make sure that you remember the WHY of the employer as well and showcase your best self.
