Did you know that when Sara Blakely tried to get Neiman Marcus to sell her now famous Spanx, they weren't interested?

They told her no. After all, there were other shapewear products already on the market. What did she do? Did she give up? 🤷‍♀️

No. She had a pair in her pocketbook, and (very unconventionally) asked the representative to come with her to the restroom. She spilled them on under her dress and closed the deal.

How about Estée Lauder?

Unable to get Galleries Lafayette department store in Paris to sell her products, she "accidentally" spilled perfume on the floor at the department store, and women started asking where they could buy this wonderful product.

She landed the account. 🙌
