September as the New Year

September as the New Year

For many, especially mothers, September feels more like the new year than January.

The kids are back at school, the beaches and pools have closed, it's time (almost) to start putting away our summer clothes and wearing cute jackets and it's a time to start everything we have been putting off all summer.

Stay at Home Moms, have you been thinking about going back to work?

It's interesting how when something is challenging, or we feel overwhelmed or scared, we are quick to put obstacles in our way.

Can you see how that could happen? Wait another month or so and then it's almost Thanksgiving. Then the holiday season begins and we're thinking about buying gifts and cooking and traveling, and then, who hires at the end of the year anyway? Before you know it, it's January.

When we really want to do something, we find a way to make it happen. We organize, budget, time manage, prioritize, meal prep, etc. and can move mountains.

Think of all the challenges you have overcome in your life. Things you didn't plan on, and had to rise to the occasion and deal with. And you did.

Don't allow fear to get in the way of achieving your dreams. You have successfully accomplished so much in your life and have the ability to create the next chaper of your story.
