But if you speak this way, while the meaning is the same, it just makes you seem negative. Glass half full kind of attitude.

Have you ever wanted to communicate that you agree with someone, but verbalized it as,

“I don’t disagree with you.” What you’re really saying is that you agree with them. So say that.

Or wanted to say that you always get positive reviews and said,

“I have never not had a good review.” Try, “I’ve always had positive reviews.”

Always on time. Say that, not, “I’ve never not been on time.”

Your perspective and having a positive attitude will dramatically change not only how you view life, but also the opportunities that are presented to you.
