Small child, big accent...

"I've never heard such a small child with such a big accent!" That's what I overhead one lady telling another after she listened to me talking to my mother in the airport when I was a small child.

I was upset at the time, and had no idea what she was talking about. Besides, I spoke like everyone else I knew.

Today I get it. I'm a New Yorker born and bred. Nowadays, clients come to me because they love my New York accent and my no nonsense attitude. My program is all about getting results. I call it a combination between holding you by the hand and kicking you in the butt.
